What do you get when you combine about 200 technology leaders, the latest application management technologies, and a fantastic location in the Netherlands? AppManagEvent 2025 is the answer, and this year it was bigger and better than ever.

The Access IT Automation team was in Utrecht, the Netherlands, for 2025’s edition of the widely respected industry event focused on application management. It was great making new connections as well as catching up with friends and colleagues.

End-User Computing Focus

AppManagEvent 2025 had a welcome focus on end-user computing this year, enhancing the discussions and knowledge-sharing even further. The new headline speakers also added to the buzz, including Microsoft’s Jim Moyle and Christiaan Brinkhoff (Christian gave the opening keynote address), as well as Brian Madden from Citrix, who gave the closing keynote address.

The personal connections you make at events like this are also important, so it was great to meet up with Jeff Ulatoski, App Volumes product owner and Director of App Products and Strategy at Omnissa. Jeff was already in the Netherlands for an Omnissa One event earlier in the week, so the timing was perfect to stop by AppManagEvent 2025 before heading back to San Francisco.

It was also great to connect again with Tim Mangan from TMurgent Technologies. We are in the planning stages for an integration of TMEdit with Access Capture. It is on the list of feature enhancements to our MSIX modules that we are currently exploring and working on. Watch this space for more information.

A Busy and Successful Event

For us, AppManagEvent 2025 was the busiest so far. We understand the attendance at the event was in the region of 200 people, and our booth was busy throughout the day with the Access IT Automation team doing product demos and talking about all things application management.

Our speaker session was also very well received. We did something a bit different this year by showcasing our product features and innovations using our Endpoint Migration-Opoly concept. The audience participation was great fun, some of the attendees went home with prizes, and we had the opportunity to focus on our theme – Your Apps, Your Rules.

Your Apps, Your Rules is about elevating your control over application management through AI and automation innovations such as self-service and evergreen application management. During our speaker session, we demonstrated how we can support legacy deployment through SCCM and modern deployment through Intune. And we demonstrated Capture Evergreen AI for the packaging, testing, and publishing of commonly used third-party apps.

Evergreen AI has Arrived – Your Apps, Your Rules from Access Capture - LinkedIn

When doing any of the above using Access Capture, you retain full control and choice over how, when, where, and what to package, test, and publish, i.e., you set the parameters (without restriction), and Access Capture’s automation functionality does all the work (without the hassle).

Looking Forward to AppManagEvent 2026

With such a successful event this year, we are now looking forward to AppManagEvent 2026. Well done to Coert Bosker and the whole AppManagEvent team for the meticulous planning and organisation, including the tone-setting pre-event dinner for sponsors and speakers.

And thank you to everyone who stopped by the Access IT Automation booth or attended our speaker session. We are looking forward to speaking with you again soon.
