We could also have based Access Capture on a per-app model. For example, where you could package a specified number of apps every month and anything over that is extra.
With our deep and extensive knowledge of application management, we knew none of these options would work. In fact, we are not embarrassed to say it made our heads spin. After all, a single customer could have tens of thousands of apps, teams of 20 or more application engineers, and tens or even hundreds of thousands of end users and endpoints. We would need a team of people to not only keep on top of it all but also try and explain the intricacies and anomalies to each of our clients.
And that’s just our perspective. From our customers’ perspectives – your perspective – the levels of uncertainty and complexity are beyond reasonable with any of the above approaches.
So, we decided to include everything. And not just everything – unlimited everything.
