Recently, over a 24 hour period, our Access Symphony client was run from an Access Capture managed VM (Virtual Machine) with automated performance metrics captured. The Access Capture platform was able to test and monitor, for example, memory usage, CPU utilisation, threads, and handles, along with countless other metrics available and monitor any executables contained within the package and any child processes that they spawn. Access Capture showcased its automated performance testing capabilities within a VM, capturing key performance metrics. During the test period, the overall utilisation of the Access Symphony client remained consistently low, with no specific areas of concern. The platform’s ability to showcase memory usage, CPU utilisation, threads, handles, and more allow enterprises to make informed decisions surrounding their IT estate.

The results gathered are proof that using Access Capture you can easily and quickly review how an application would perform across different builds or environments. The platform was also able to monitor the performance of the system during the test, not just the applications, giving us the detail of the underlying state of the machine.
